The frame has been sandblasted and moved back into the garage to prevent and further rusting. The battery box sheet metal was badly rusted and could not be saved. Here I am grinding off the rivets and replacing with new metal stock before I start with preparations for painting. The engine rebuild, woodwork and painting of the many small bare metal parts have yet to be dealt with. There goes any chance of a fishing trip this summer.
