Capital Series AA, and National Series AB have Serial Number on right or left side of the front seat heel board. Motor Numbers are stamped on block back of ignition distributor on right side of motor. On International, Universal, Independence, Confederate, Eagle, Master and Standard models Serial Number plate is on right front seat frame. On Roadster and Phaeton and all other models it is on right sill under floor mat directly in front of the right front seat. Motor number on boss, right side of cylinder block just back of fuel pump.
    Prior to 1932 first digit in serial number indicates plant in which the car was made. Starting with 1932 models first number indicates the year, second letter designates the chassis type, the next two numbers designate the month and the balance of the figures starting with 1001, designate the car number. Thus, the first car made in Flint for 1932 and in the month of November would have 1BA111001 as the serial number. Likewise a car built in Flint during January may have 1BA013003 as the serial number.
